“Clever and stylish! a fast-paced 90 minutes. Ingrasciotta is a confident and appealing presence!” NY Daily News
“A lot of laughs! Ingrasciotta takes us on an 85-mintute journey exploring the Sicilian immigrant experience. Everyone can relate to this family drama!” Home Tribune News (NJ)
“Very funny! I am happy to report that Mr. Ingrasciotta has all that is needed to embody his always cooking, long suffering mama and his always “King of the House” construction working papa, his uncle, his neighbors (with hilarious nick names) and everyone else involved in his interesting Italian-American life.” Talk Entertainment.com
“Ingrasciotta's ability to spin a comic tale is deft. The star's portraits of his mom, dad and a host of other characters are beautifully rendered and often quite funny; he can change his accent, timbre of voice, and physical bearing within the blink of an eye. A dramatic coming-of-age piece that will speak to ALL audiences!” Theatermania.com

“Frank Ingrasciotta embodies multiple characters from his life as the son of Sicilian immigrants to Brooklyn, his voices and impersonations – male and female, young and old, American and Italian – are distinct and flavorful, and he moves well on stage. His chronological narrative is frequently amusing.” Backstage (The Actor’s Resource)

Actor/Playwright Frank Ingrasciotta gives a tour de force one-man performance in this funny & tender coming-of-age story exploring the first-generation American's delicate dance between culture and identity! Come meet the more than 20 characters who live, love and laugh as they struggle to thrive in a new culture. It’s a fast-paced journey that is not just a comedy, not just a drama. It’s family – and we all have one! Blood Type: RAGU’s universal themes entertained audiences during its critically-acclaimed off-Broadway run last year at the historic Actors Playhouse. Its premiere run at the Belmont Playhouse broke records becoming the longest running show in the theatre’s ten year history. It continued to perform at the George Street Playhouse (NJ), Ensemble Studio Theatre (NYC), Playhouse on the Green (CT), Authors Playhouse (LI), 14th Street Playhouse in Atlanta, the Dante Hall Theatre in Atlantic City as well as numerous performing arts centers in the tri-state area. The show also performed as the opening act for legendary singer Al Martino.
